Hello friends! Would you believe Ive just recently discovered figs? Ive always associated them with my least favourite, the dreaded Fig Newton. One beautiful Saturday, while shopping at our local fruit and veggie market, I decided what the heck, Im buying figs! Ive since enjoyed them many times and in many ways (although mostly with cheese and crackers), but the best had yet to come. And it came in the form of a fig and berry smoothie!
4 black mission figs, cut in half, insides scooped out
cup frozen raspberries
cup frozen strawberries
1 cup milk of your choice (almond, as usual, for me!)
2 tbsp seeds of your choice (I used 1 tbsp chia seeds, 1 tbsp hemp seeds)
