Lean Green Recipes

I just love my green smoothies. Honestly, have one for breakfast and I guarantee you’ll feel like a better person for the rest of the day!

This is a good one for Mondays. After a busy weekend, you might feel like you a need a bit of a recharge (I know I do). My third take on the green smoothie is so refreshing (not to toot my own horn, or anything). Seriously, this is quite possibly THE BEST green! Just in time for the warm weather… or the rain that’s currently coming down right now.

1/2 cup collard greens, fresh or frozen (or kale, spinach or a combination of the three)
1/2 cup pineapple, chopped
1/2 kiwi
1/2 banana
1 cup coconut water
squeeze of lime juice
