Kale and Almond Recipe

So simple and so good this smoothie has easily become my go-to breakfast. The coconut oil is a fantastic addition; it’s great for fat metabolism and skin health.

A Glass of Kale & Almond
Serves 2

Ingredients
1 cup chopped kale
1 cup almond milk
1 tbsp almond butter
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 pitted date
1/2 ripe banana
1/4 cup cold filtered water
2 – 4 ice cubes, depending on desired slushiness

Directions
Combine all the ingredients in a blender and purée until smooth.
