I have a love/hate relationship with cherries. While I love their tangy sweetness and can devour more than a pound in one sitting, my body seems to have an intolerance to one of my favorite fruits. In fact, it’s quite common! Eat too many cherries and you’ll see. They’re said to cause… er… Indigestion.
I’ll have to limit my intake to just one smoothie (it’s fantastic, so it’ll be tough) and maybe a couple of bowls of just-picked cherries.
1/2 cup cherries, pits removed
1/2 cup bluberries
1 cup coconut water or organic oj
1 squeeze fresh lime juice
1 tbsp chia seed
