Monday’s shouldn’t be allowed to happen. I mean, what the heck, no one likes Monday, he should just go away (yes, Monday is totally a man). I decided to start a new routine: wake up, work, gym, then home. You see, my former routine was: wake up, work, traffic, home (hungry, tired)… gym… maybe. Note the change. I’m totally pumped about this new routine, especially since there’s a gym across the street from my office (how convenient!), I’ll miss evening rush hour, then get home and be freeee (well, I still have my evening chores, but you get my drift).
Cheers to my new routine with a glass of almond and banana! Yummers. It’s packed with protein and lots of energy, specially made for today (take that Monday!).
1/2 cup almond butter (or your choice of nut butter)
1 ripe banana
1 cup almond milk (or your choice of skim milk or other non-dairy milk)
1 tsp honey
